A 15-amino-acid peptide, made by synthesis and characterised as a batch.

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide — a chain of exactly fifteen amino acids. Its sequence is derived from a protein found in human gastric juice, and it was discovered by Dr. Predrag Sikiric at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. We supply it as the stable 2× L-arginine salt, built by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) — not bacterially expressed.

Lot

The single batch this page describes

This listing is one specific lot, not an open-ended product line. Lot 141213-4 is surplus from our own batch testing: material we characterised in our own laboratory (99.57% purity by HPLC, identity by ESI-MS) and hold beyond what our work needs. The same lot was then sent to an outside laboratory, Janoshik Analytical, which independently measured its purity at 99.562% — report #204156. Both documents are on this page, and the independent one can be checked at the source.

Research use only. This material is supplied strictly for in vitro and in vivo laboratory research by qualified researchers. It is not a medicine, supplement, food or medical device; it is not sterile and not pyrogen-free; and it is not for human or veterinary use of any kind. Nothing on this page is a therapeutic, diagnostic or efficacy claim. Purity and identity are quality measures — they say nothing about biological effect.

Typical listingNot statedNot covered either.

Purity is a measure of chemical quality only. It says how much of the material is the stated peptide, and nothing about biological effect.

The right-hand column is a capability we document, not a measured share of vendors. Real comparator batch: Oath Research 2602180021. Sterility, pyrogens/endotoxin and a content assay against the 10 mg label are assessed by neither certificate — the product is not sterile and not pyrogen-free.
